While the Academy Awards hosting gig was bandied around yesterday like an unvaccinated hot potato with measles, the Golden Globes were busy locking down their own co-hosts. One day before the announcement of its nominees, the Golden Globes unveiled Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg as their 2019 ceremony co-hosts.

Not only have the two accomplished actors won Golden Globes — Oh for Grey’s Anatomy and Samberg for Brooklyn Nine-Nine — but the pair showcased their chemistry while presenting an Emmy Award in September of this year. Samberg had years on Saturday Night Live and his time with The Lonely Island to perfect his comedic timing, but the Emmys clip proves that Oh has the chops to keep up with him.

Unlike the lackluster response to Kevin Hart hosting the Oscars in February, the announcement of Oh and Samberg has been met with mostly positive reactions. The 76th Annual Golden Globes ceremony airs on NBC January 6, 2019, 8PM EST.
