Steven Spielberg’s next project, after War Horse and Tin Tin: The Secret of the Unicorn, which will both be out in December 2011, will be Robopocalypse, reports Deadline. It’s being scripted by Drew Goddard (Cloverfield) and based on a Daniel H. Wilson novel about the human race’s attempt to survive an apocalyptic robot uprising.

So … the next Terminator sequel, then? Or the I, Robot sequel? Or is it the actual big-screen adaptation of Battlestar Galactica?

It’d be cooler if they called it Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robopocalypse. Or here’s a better idea: Robot Zombies!
