Robert Redford’s The Company You Keep premieres at the Toronto Film Festival next month (way to shaft your own festival, Redford!), and it centers on a journalist played by Shia LaBeouf who is attempting to track down a missing Weather Underground activist who has been on the run for 30 years. LaBeouf, who acquitted himself nicely in Lawless, is the featured played in the thriller, but it’s the strong supporting cast that makes this movie so intriguing: Brit Marling, Susan Sarandon, Anna Kendrick, Nick Nolte, Terrence Howard, Stanley Tucci, Chris Cooper, Brendan Gleeson, Julie Christie, Stephen Root, Richard Jenkins, and Sam Elliott.
So, basically, there won’t be any scenery left after those guys finish chewing.
Also, that’s some really bad hair, there, LaBeouf.
