First up will be an adaptation of Andy Weir’s The Martian, starring Matt Damon as stranded astronaut, Mark Watney. Presumed dead after a violent storm on Mars, Watney must survive on his own…a la
Scott hopes another “survivor,” Harrison Ford’s Richard Decker will return for his Blade Runner sequel. Hampton Fancher and Michael Green have already written the script, which Scott says is “damned good.”

The sequel is currently scheduled for a March 4, 2016 release.
