This report comes from the UK’s Mirror, so take it with a grain of salt. On the other hand, original reports that Jenna Louise Coleman was leaving after the Christmas special should also be taken with a grain of salt, which is to say: This is a rumor dispelling another rumor, although the earlier rumor — that Coleman was going to leave — was more officially more along the lines of, “Coleman hasn’t decided whether to stay or not at the end of the year.”

But, according to The Mirror, Coleman has decided to stay, at least through the first half of the next season airing in the fall, says their “insider.”

The insider added that Jenna had had a “change of heart” about leaving, having done just one series with Capaldi.

I have no idea what to think of that, except that I sincerely hope that it’s true because the Capaldi and Coleman pairing are my favorite since Tennant and Piper.
