While a lot of us have praised Marvel’s approach to scheduling their next superhero movies so that all the fans know how long they have to wait until they see their favorite characters again, it’s not always a good thing. There’s some things you’re totally on board for even if you’re hearing about them four years in advance, and then there’s projects where you’re kind of like “Uhhhhh, maybe slow your roll a little there.”
In news regarding the second kind of project, it’s been revealed that the rebooted Terminator series already has two planned sequels with release dates stretching out to 2018. The first in the series, Terminator: Genisys, will be out next summer and we can all see what it looks like when a 67 year old man tries to recreate the role that made him mega-famous 30 years later. I’m guessing it looks like a whole lot of CGI, and that we won’t be getting a reprise of the “Your clothes. Give them to me.” scene.
