Released in 2010, Red Dead Redemption is an amazing game that allows you to play as John Marsten, a former outlaw forced to track down his old buddies by the government. Throughout the course of the gorgeous game, you grow to love your murderous character and the conflict playing out within him - and within you. I mean, yes. I did kill prostitutes, but only because the game allowed it. Plus that one lady screamed for help and it was an ambush, so I had to run over her with my horse. But I felt bad about the sasquatch. Like, terrible about it.
Fans of the original have been waiting for several years and through several delays for the follow-up game, Red Dead Redemption II. Set before the events of the first game, players get to take on the role of Arthur Morgan, a member of the outlaw gang Van Der Linda. It’s not in the gameplay, but I hope I can still catch wild horses and accidentally blow myself up with a brain fart when attempting to use dynamite. *fingers crossed*
