While most of the eastern cities in the US were in the grips of a massive blizzard, the Producers Guild of America went on with their yearly awards show over in Los Angeles. The most interesting thing about this, if you are not personally a member of the PGA, is that the winner of the “Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures” award has gone on to claim the “Best Picture” award at the Oscars for the last eight years. So if you’re looking to readjust your betting for your Oscars pool, this is probably worth paying at least a little bit of attention to.
