Pitt Says LaBeouf Is a Great Actor, I Feel Cold on the Inside

Shia LaBeouf gives me the icks. It’s not his fault really; I’m not creeped out by his alcoholism or his seeming mental health issues. It’s just his inherent Beouf-iness that I dislike. It might actually be that he’s not as terrible as a lot of other celebrities, and that uncertainty makes me uncomfortable. I mean, this picture

makes me feel like God has abandoned us all, but at least the guy isn’t Charlie Sheen.

So hearing Brad Pitt, an actor whose work I mostly respect, say that LaBeouf is “one of the best [he’s] seen” makes me feel bad. Really bad.

“Oh, I love this boy. He’s one of the best actors I’ve ever seen,” Pitt said of LaBeouf. “He’s full-on commitment, man. He’s living it like no one else, let me tell you.”

Really? You do? Is it the bad facial hair that bonded you? Or unsuccessfully trying to rock a shoulder length shag? Because I have seen too many LaBeouf movies, and “great” is not a word that occurred to me.

I don’t like it, Brad. I don’t like it at all. Remember about your friend George Clooney? And when you hung out with all of those cool guys from Ocean’s Eleven? And John Krasinski? He’s friend with George, and seems like a really cool guy. Maybe give him a call. Just please stop talking about LeBeouf.
