This is Olivia Thirlby:
She was in Juno. She was in The Wackness. She was in Snow Angels. She was in Breaking Upwards, which we’ll have a review of this week. In terms of pure gorgeosity, she is insane. She could use a cracker or two, but otherwise, she’s aesthetic perfection.
Sadly, Hollywood hasn’t come all the way around to this conclusion yet. They will, mind you. But they’re taking their sweet-ass time. A big step in that direction comes from THR’s Risky Biz blog, which reports that Thirlby has landed a leading role in Darkest Hour, a Chris Gorac directed sci-fi movie produced by Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted).
The story follows follows a group of Americans traveling in the Moscow when an alien invasion occurs. Gorac and Josh Zetumer are currently revising the script. Filming is expected to begin this summer. Thirlby will play a trust fund girl trying to survive the attack who teams up with others to try to defeat the invaders.
She will kill them with her beauty.
