New 'Game of Thrones' Set Images Reveal George R.R. Martin's Worst Nightmare: Breastplate Nipples

The story goes that George R.R. Martin so detested the nipples on George Clooney’s batsuit in Batman and Robin that he introduced the phrase “as useless as nipples on a breastplate” to the world of Westeros, and has used that expression several times throughout The Song of Ice and Fire. George R.R. Martin loves nipples, but he does not like nipples on breastplates.

Tragically, it now appears from images from the set of the fifth season of Game of Thrones that Martin’s worst nightmare has come to life on his very own HBO show: The Sand Snakes (Jessica Henwick, Keisha Castle-Hughes, and Rosabell Laurenti-Seller) have nipples on their breastplates.

This is NO way to treat the man responsible for the network’s biggest cash cow! We demand they be removed, or we will give HBO the Jameis Winston punishment: We will refuse to watch the, uh, opening credits to the first two episodes of the season out of protest!
