I know that many people eventually came around on BoJack Horseman, but Netflix hasn’t really had a new smash hit series since Orange is the New Black, and while that, House of Cards, and an impressive back catalogue is enough to keep most of us subscribed, the network could use another original program to draw in a bigger audience and retain the one it has.
That may come in the form of Bloodline, the forthcoming series led by Kyle Chandler, making his first return to television since Friday Night Lights. It also features a stellar cast that includes Ben Mendelsohn (The Dark Knight Rises), Linda Cardellini (Mad Men), Sam Shepard, Sissy Spacek (Carrie), and Jacinda Barrett (Suits, Real World!) Here’s photos of the beautiful faces that make up the cast of Bloodline.
We also now have a release date for the series, which is about a close-knit family of adult siblings whose secrets and scars are revealed when the black sheep oldest brother, Danny (Mendelsohn), returns home. The series will debut in March 2015.
Here’s the first teaser.
