  • Leaked internal documents reveal that the budget for the next James Bond film, Spectre, is in the vicinity of $300 million, making it one of the most expensive films ever produced. One executive had attempted to get producers to trim it down to $250 million, but got push back. I hope $20 million of that goes to Monica Belluci, just because. Skyfall,by the way, grossed $1.1 billion worldwide, so I don’t think there’s any danger of Spectre losing money. (CNBC)

  • In other leaked docs, (SPOILERS for The Interview) Amy Pascal attempted to get Seth Rogen to soften the finale scene, which sees the head of Kim Jong-un explode. Rogen didn’t take kindly to the suggestion:

“The head explosion can’t be more obscured than it is because we honestly feel that if it’s any more obscured, you won’t be able to tell it’s exploding and the joke won’t work.” He added, “This is now a story of Americans changing their movie tomake North Koreans happy. That is a very damning story.”

He did, however, ultimately agree to a compromise. (Mediatite)

  • You may have heard that Scott Rudin and Amy Pascal threw a fit because Kevin Hart demanded more money from them to promote his film through his Twitter account. Pascal and Rudin called him a “whore.” Kevin Hart responded yesterday on Instagram:

  • Amy Pascal called Nikki Finke a “pathetic, hateful person,” and encouraged her husband to stop being friends with Finke after the blogger wrote a withering assessment of Sony. (Defamer)

  • Leaked emails also revealed that Sony is working on a Super Mario Brothers film. (Eurogamer)

  • There’s a pitch circulating that would see Danny Devito’s Ruthless People being updated to center on former LA Clippers’ owner Donald Sterling, who would be played by Will Ferrell. Melissa McCarthy would play his wife, Shelly, and Kristen Wiig would play his mistress. That sounds awesome. (Deadspin)

  • Finally, Amy Pascal — pictured here about to be DEVOURED by Angelina Jolieapologized for her racist asscumptions with regard to President Obama.

“The content of my emails to Scott were insensitive and inappropriate but are not an accurate reflection of who I am,” she said in a statement issued today. “Although this was a private communication that was stolen, I accept full responsibility for what I wrote and apologize to everyone who was offended.”

    Rudin also apologized.

“Private emails between friends and colleagues written in haste and without much thought or sensitivity, even when the content of them is meant to be in jest, can result in offense where none was intended,” he said in a statement to ABC News. “I am deeply sorry and apologize for any injury they might have caused.”

No one is have a worse week than Amy Pascal and Scott Rudin.(ABC News)
