We’ve got less than a month before The Daily Show comes back in its newly regenerated form, and things are getting shaken up a bit. We’d already heard that Trevor Noah was keeping all the show’s senior producers, though the direction of the content will shift some. Jordan Klepper, Hasan Minhaj, Jessica Williams, Al Madrigal, Aasif Mandvi and will all stay on as correspondents (along with contributors Kristen Schaal, Lewis Black and John Hodgman) but they’ll now be joined by three new faces.
Super excited about the new members of The Daily Show Team! - welcome @ronnychieng @DesiLydic @roywoodjr

So who are these new correspondents?
Ronny Chieng
I’m completely fascinated by Ronny Chieng’s accent. He was born in Malaysia, raised in Singapore and the U.S., and moved to Australia in 2009, all making for one incredible voice. He’s a standup who was named “Best Newcomer” at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2012.
Desi Lydic
Lydic is a comedian and improviser who’s been starring on MTV’s Awkward.
Roy Wood, Jr.
Roy Wood has been around working in comedy longer than both other correspondents combined, having started his career in 1998. Here he is, as he puts it, giving some “steaming hot action of me yelling into a camera.” I feel like this, especially in relation to sports, is going to be his niche.
We also learned today that, for what it’s worth, Trevor Noah looks damn fine in a suit.
