Netflix is already deep into filming the first of four planned Marvel superhero miniseries, Daredevil with Charlie Cox and Rosario Dawson, and now they’re moving ahead on the next series, Luke Cage and Jessica Jones. They’ve already compiled shortlist for the leads on both series, and it’s a parade of pretty.

Here’s the shortlist for Jessica Jones:

Alexandra Daddario

Jessica De Gouw

Krysten Ritter

Teresa Palmer

I can’t believe some poor bastard has to choose between the four. Good luck answering to the Internet if you choose the wrong one, which is any one of them, depending on your perspective.

Meanwhile, Luke Cage will be introduced in the Jessica Jones series, so they’re going ahead with casting him, too, and that shortlist is not as challenging.

Lance Gross

Mike Colter

I don’t know Gross, but Colter plays a bad-ass Stringer Bell knock-off on The Good Wife, and he’s really good. I’d lean toward him, if only to draw in the grandmas who love The Good Wife, because you know they’ll follow Lemond Bishop anywhere.
