Jonah Hill and Jimmy Fallon Go to Hashtag Town, and Once Again, Questlove Is the Sole Voice of Reason

Oh lord, did I despise the hashtag convo that Jimmy Fallon had with Justin Timberlake last year, which was beyond obnxoius. Yes, I understand that that was the point. But like SNL sketches that center on abrasive and/or annoying characters, it’s hard to get past how unpleasant the obnoxiousness is.

Likewise, the Jonah Hill and Jimmy Fallon hashtag conversation was equally unpleasant, and yet, hard not to watch. Once again, the Questlove button to the sketch is like a lone voice of reason screaming into the dark void of hashtag unpleasantness.

Shut the f*ck up, indeed.

It’s moments like these that make me remember Fever Pitch and Taxi, and those are not fond Jimmy Fallon memories.
