Joey's Got a Gun: Katie Holmes in 'Miss Meadows'

Miss Meadows might be the first movie I’ve wanted to see just to find out how badly the trailer got it wrong. Because it seems like the trailer isn’t quite sure what kind of movie Miss Meadows is. Take a look:

It seems vaguely off, right? Most of it looks like a straightforward vigilante movie with the twist that the vigilante is a female school teacher. But what’s with the “toodaloo”? Is this supposed to be a satire, or is that legitimately supposed to be her tagline? And the “That’s so not an option”? Is the second twist that Miss Meadows is Chandler Bing reincarnated? Is Miss Meadow’s old school wardrobe and car supposed to be an indication of her mental instability? Because I might be willing to sacrifice a little mental stability if I could rock that light blue pencil skirt.

The only thing I know for sure is that Holmes seems to have made it through two minutes of acting without using her trademark lopsided smile. It’d probably be worth the $10 tickets just to see if she can keep that up.
