Jenji Kohan, the creator of Orange Is the New Black and Weeds, is really into the hard core stuff. At a gathering of the Hollywood Radio and Television Society yesterday, she talked about her love of seeing the nasty on TV, saying, “I love graphic sex. The more sex the better.”

That’s great! I’m no opponent of attractive people touching each other’s naughty bits, especially in a Piper/Alex-type scenario. But then Kohan went on to talk about the logistics of getting those naughty bits on TV and things got weird.

Very often it’s convincing the actors to get naked. … You hope everyone will just be cool about it, and then they’re not. There’s a lot of convincing and making people feel comfortable.

Does that make anyone else feel icky all over? Especially (and I know these comments were made yesterday, but we’re reading them today, so that’s bound to influence our feelings on them) in the wake of the Bryan Singer news, the “convincing” and coercing seems skeevy at best and rapey at worst.

She also promised some upcoming dude parts, but with a Netflix-imposed limitation.

We have some male frontal nudity this season, but I don’t think it’s going to be erect.

Given the limited male cast of this show (barring any potential new additions), whose frontal do we think is going to be full?

Vivian Kane is hoping for Bennett, but preparing for Healy.
