It Looks Like Your (Second) Least Favorite 'Arrow' Character May Be Leaving

Possible Spoilers

This is all speculation based upon some social media exchanges, but it seems fairly obvious from them that Arrow will be losing a major-minor character in episode 65. Unfortunately, it won’t be Katie Cassidy, but more likely Colton Haynes, who has a character, Roy Harper — through no fault of the actor’s own — who has been kind of a dead weight on the series for a while now.

These exchanges occurred after the filming of season 3, episode 19, “Broken Arrow.” Here’s Stephen Amell.

He reiterated the same on Facebook:

Colton Haynes, meanwhile, took to Twitter around that same time.

It’s not necessarily Colton Haynes who is leaving the show, but someone else leaving who they are feeling emotional about.

It’s possible that it’s Willa Holland (Thea), who is being outfitted with a head mold below (in case they want to explode or smash her head in). More likely, however, she’s just being fitted for a new costume, should she become yet another crime fighter on the show, Speedy (as Hypable speculates).

No offense to Haynes, but hopefully it is Roy Harper who is potentially leaving the show. With so many (too many) costumed superheroes on Arrow right now, it’s feeling very crowded (and, in fact, I am three episodes behind now because I’ve simply lost interest).

That episode, meanwhile, will air on April 15th.
