In a Triumph Against Evil, the 'Say Anything' TV Show Has Been Canceled

My fellow outraged Internetians, this is indeed a great day. We should all feel proud of our accomplishments. We banded together, we tweeted, we Disqus’d, we used correct grammar and spelling (sometimes, kinda, with liberties) and made our displeasure known. And we have been rewarded for our struggles.

Let it be known, let us shout it from the rooftops: THE SAY ANYTHING TV SHOW HAS BEEN CANCELED!

According to Deadline, after news of the TV sequel broke yesterday,

Crowe called Kaplan to voice his objections. Realizing that Crowe did not know about the comedy series and was against it, Kaplan and Adler pulled out of the project, with 20th TV making the official decision to pull the plug this morning.

Who says being angry on the internet is a fruitless waste of time? Lots of people say that, don’t they?

Well, nuts to them. Because all it took was 24 hours of complaining, plus one very important person to complain even louder, and we got that shit shut down.

Today, October 7th, shall forever be celebrated as a Twitter triumph, an internet milestone. This day shall live in infamy, my friends. Let it be known forevermore as F*ck That Stupid Say Anything Reboot Day.
