  • I dunno if any of you have heard of the play The Normal Heart, which focuses on a guy named Ned Weeks during the early days of the AIDS epidemic, but Mark Ruffalo revealed that he’s set to play the lead in a movie adaptation. Also, that Ryan Murphy (“Glee”) is involved in a capacity not yet known. (Collider)

  • That low-key, decidedly not that scary Paranormal Activity 2 trailer we posted the other day? Out in Texas, a Cinemark theater had to pull it after too many parents complained it was too scary for those in attendance for Eclipse, which — by the way — is a PG-13 movie. And that’s all you need to know about the typical audience for Twilight. (Variety)

  • For those who like to follow the late-night talk wars without actually having to watch a late-night show, you might be pleased to note that — during his first full quarter back on the air — Jay Leno’s ratings were the lowest they have been since David Letterman debuted on CBS back in 1993. (Deadline)

  • According to the scoop thieves over at The LA Times, there’s a Fall Guy movie in the works, although I put its chances of making it through the development process after the lackluster box-office of The A-Team at about 24 percent. That doesn’t mean it’s not a good excuse to post one of the greatest theme songs of all time. Play us out, Lee Majors:
