Quick to capitalize on the massive popularity of Jennifer Lawrence and The Hunger Games, the trailer for House at the End of the Street is being released to the Internet today, months ahead of the September 21st release date. The film also stars Elisabeth Shue, comes from a director of little note (Mark Tondeerai), and looks like Jennifer Lawrence’s version of Phantoms, an early career movie meant to go straight to DVD but released in theaters after a sudden surge of popularity (You were the bomb in House at the End of the Street, yo!) There’s some sort of Memento mojo going on, as the film follows a mother and daughter who uncover a mystery about their new home in reverse.
You know what’s even more horrifying in reverse? Guy Fieri eating, a prospect I’m more excited about watching than The House and the End of the Street.
