Here's the Trailer for a Rare Summer TV Comedy We Can Look Forward To

There are a lot of good shows to look forward to this summer, but the one thing I kind of miss about the off-season for the networks are the sitcoms. With great dramas like Rectify, The Bridge, Tyrant, The Leftovers, Masters of Sex, Manhattan, and The Strain (among others) to look forward to, it’s often nice to have a comedy or three to break up the heavier material. The closest thing we really have to that this summer is Orange is the New Black or even Suits, which is at least a light drama.

That’s one reason I’m looking forward to FX’s new summer series, Married. Another reason: Nat Faxon and Judy Greer (plus Jenny Slate). A third reason? The trailer actually makes it appear as though the series might be funny, relatable, and entertaining, though our Station Agents colleague Josh Kurp probably summed up the trailer best with a Judd Apatow reference: This is 35.

I’m in, and FOR GOD’S SAKE, let Judy Greer have a show that last more than one season.
