Sharknado 2: The Second One (yes, that’s really the title) just began filming in New York City, and these photos and video confirm what you already knew: WE’RE GOING TO NEED A BIGGER KEG (to get us through this crapfest). Joining original Sharknado stars Ian Ziering and Tara Reid will be the brain-frying combination of acting talent that is Mark McGrath, Kelly Osbourne, Andy Dick, Vivvica A. Fox, Judd Hirsch and Judah Friedlander. And as you can see, filming is going…er, swimmingly.

I’m not sure why jumping off a taxi hood is such a death-defying feat, but Fox is selling it.

McGrath: “Nobody told me the sharks could fly.”

Ziering, repeating in his head: “I’m the star…I’m the star.”

McGrath: “I am going to kick any motherfucking thing that moves.”

Random Prop Man: “Okay, so I just throw it as hard as I can?”

Hirsch: “What have I done?”
