*Warning: The following may be spoilers — if you don’t want even a hint of what might be coming in Avengers: Age of Ultron, back on out now.

Of the upcoming Marvel films, Age of Ultron has certainly set the rumor mill on fire. We’ve already heard all kinds of things about final and/or post-credits scenes, twisty plot devices that’ll kick off or transition in other characters, and we’ve heard Joss Whedon talking about four prominent female roles. We know two of those females are Black Widow and Scarlet Witch, and we certainly want the third to be Katee Sackhoff as Carol Danvers, but who might the fourth be?

According to the usual mysterious “sources,” one of Age of Ultron’s surprise appearances will be:

Because of her connections to Ultron, Thanos, Vision and Scarlett Witch, as well as Guardians of the Galaxy crossover potential, this is a pretty cool rumor/scoop (though the source’s info “isn’t 100% certain, Schmoes Knows says Mantis is also the name that’s being bandied about on the Age of Ultron set).

Also confirmed is the rumor Andy Serkis will play Ulysses Klaw, and uncovered some details about the role:

“The character will be a slight variant of the villain from the comics world, apparently a blending of Ulysses Klaw and his father, Colonel Fritz Klaue, the crazed Nazi who battled Sgt. Fury and his Howling Commandos. This Marvel source added that ‘Fritz could possibly have a small appearance in the film or a passing reference, but most of his attributes will be given to Serkis’s Klaw.’”
Now, if only someone would confirm the Danvers/Sackhoff thing, we could all be happily snowed in.
