Harvey Weinstein Sues The Weinstein Company, Reminds Us All He Still Isn't In Jail
There’s sleazy, there’s repeated sexual harasser Harvey Weinstein sleazy, and then there’s repeated sexual assault perpetrator and noted bully Harvey Weinstein suing his former company in a bid to obtain personnel and employment records sleazy.
After a week in rehab for sex addiction that’s totally cured him and wasn’t a cheap excuse to pretend he’s the victim in all this, Weinstein filed papers in Delaware this week, which looks like an attempt to offset any coming lawsuits from accusers, investors or employees, as noted by The Hollywood Reporter. Weinstein claims that any ‘unjustified settlements or judgments’ will diminish his economic interest in the company. Essentally, his case is that if the company tries to start selling off assets or the company as a whole for less than its perceived worth ‘because of the threat of unsubstantiated or false allegations’, Bathrobe Wanker Harvey won’t received what he feels he’s owed.
It’s nice to know his priorities haven’t changed. He’s still a scumbag.
The case hasn’t reached the courts yet, but The Weinstein Company’s own demands from Harvey including producing ‘any documents he removed from the office, any financial statements reflecting his expenses since 2005 and access to his phone and electronic devices, emails and other information relevant to its investigation.’
