ABC’s Happy Endings was a silly and addictive sitcom that was gone too soon. Since then, its stars have fled to new (or new to them) shows like New Girl, The Mindy Project, Benched and Marry Me. But now the behind-the-scenes team of this show about six bumbling but beloved Chicagoans are re-teaming for a new Fox comedy called Frauds.

THR reveals Happy Endings creator David Caspe, writer Gil Ozeri and producer Jamie Tarses have secured a script commitment for the single-camera sitcom will follow a family of crooks angling to pull off a complicated Ponzi scheme. No word yet on if any of Happy Endings alums will be pulled in to be a party of this criminal clan. All the same…

In other tangential Happy Endings news, Caspe’s new series Marry Me—which stars his lovely wife and hilarious comedienne Casey Wilson—is thriving at NBC, proving the only one of their comedies to score and additional five episodes order.

AND! Ozeri, who penned about half of the series, is joining forces with Adam Pally to develop some secret but surely magical project for Disney. Perhaps a live-action Winnie The Pooh movie?

Okay. This news is exciting. But I confess, mostly I will take any excuse to post a series of Happy Endings GIFs.
