'Happy Endings' Gets a Happier Present
Many of us still mourn the loss of beloved sitcom Happy Endings which aired for just three seasons. Considering that Two and a Half Men aired until basically the heat death of the universe and the titular group of men was down to “Duckie and whoever else we can throw piles of cash at” fans were annoyed by this.*
But there is some good news! While the show is not coming back (…yet) they are going to make all three seasons available on Hulu effective immediately! Casey Wilson and Adam Pally were only too happy to spread the news:
Happy Endings is on Hulu! Happy New Year!— Casey Wilson (@caseyrosewilson) January 2, 2016
Happy Endings on Hulu just like Seinfeld and Deadbeat!!!— adam pally (@adampally) January 2, 2016
Now, we’ve seen shows get picked up by streaming networks and then given new seasons before, so it’s not impossible that it could happy again. Maybe. Possibly. Although those boomerang seasons that have come long after the series went off the air have generally been received with a pained smile of “Oh, good!” once they actually aired. So, I’m not entirely sure what to root for here, but I am glad that Hulu has given me more content that I love that I can use to avoid doing actual work/watching any of the excellent new shows I keep hearing about.
*I am aware that Two and a Half Men is technically off the air now, but syndication ensures that we will be infected by it for decades to come.
