Hannibal Buress Is Getting His Own Comedy Central Show! Rejoice, Fans of Good and Funny Things!
We all know that famous torture kids inflict on adults, asking “Why?” over and over again incessantly until you snap, right? Just ask Louis C.K.
Well, apparently it’s not just kids that do this. Hannibal Buress does it, too, and it’s earned him his very own show. Comedy Central has just picked up eight episodes of a new show called Why? With Hannibal Buress. It will feature Buress (who you may know from a multitude of projects like Broad City or lighting the match that ignited the entire Bill Cosby horror show) “answering the burning questions on his mind through stand-up, filmed segments, man-on-the-street interviews and special in-studio guests.” And according to Kent Alterman from Comedy Central, the reason behind the show was pretty simple: “Hannibal kept asking us ‘why’ so we just told him to go find out and we’ll air it.”
And don’t worry, Al Dente Dentist fans. Why is set to start taping in July, and premiere each episode the same week it tapes.
Vivian Kanewas once yelled at by Buress on Twitter. But even though she has declared him her permanent nemesis, this news still excites her.
