'Game of Thrones'' Alfie Allen Calls His Sister a Liar, and Reveals Benioff and Weiss' Cruel Season 2 Prank

It’s a damned Game of Thrones festival around here today, my friends, and this is too interesting a development — I’m piling on. Remember when a couple of weeks ago, Lily Allen did a Reddit AMA and claimed she’d turned down a GoT cameo offer because she was squicked out by the thought of acting out an incestuous relationship with her real brother? Well, Alfie just did a little post “The Mountain and the Viper” interview, and this is his comment on his sister’s claim:

“I heard about this, yeah. The only thing I’m going to say on that is that it’s not true.”

Alfie adds that Gemma Whalen is “fantastic,” and always the first choice to play his onscreen sister.

Hmm…perhaps our boy is finally getting his payback for that little ditty.

And apparently his sister isn’t the only meanie in Alfie’s life; Allen also revealed that at the end of season 2, David Benioff and Dan Weiss played a cruel prank:

“They sent me a fake season finale script where Bran killed me at Winterfell, stabbing me in the heart, and it was hilarious…I didn’t even know, because I hadn’t read that far ahead in the books. And I thought it was a good way to go, and with respect to David [Benioff] and Dan [Weiss], it’s their call — they do what they do. And I actually loved [that] ending. I thought it was a good death. And then about three weeks past, people were telling David and Dan, when I wasn’t there, “You should probably tell him, because he’s probably tearing his heart out about it.” So they called me and they told me that I wouldn’t be dying.”

Damn, that’s cold. What is it about Alfie Allen that everyone wants to torture him? You can read the full interview over at Vulture.

Cindy Davis, (Twitter) is rather impressed by Alfie’s acting evolution.
