Stephen King’s It is being remade with Hemlock Grove’s Bill Skarsgård in the role of Pennywise. The film has had some production difficulties — Cary Fukunaga left over what he thought was a bland, unoriginal screenplay — but the film is back on track with director Andy Muschietti (Mama) and scheduled for release in September 2017.
EW has the first look at the clown central to the movie, Pennywise.
