I used to think that soulless soft-mouthed ginger Eddie Redmayne might be a vampire demon, who would one day finally achieve the role he was born to play: The lead villain in an Underworld movie. Alas, the fact that he can still be seen in photographs suggests that he’s not a vampire, but I haven’t ruled out the possibility that he’s a hideous Gorgon with the Blink-like powers of Doctor Who’s Weeping Angels. Redmayne can still show up in photographs, but can anyone prove that the photographer hasn’t been sent back in time?
Has anyone seen Sacha Baron Cohen since Les Miserables? Don’t dismiss the possibility that he now exists sometime in the 18th century, and that Redmayne is feeding off of the years that Sacha Baron Cohen would have lived in the present.
You know how Amanda Seyfried managed to co-star alongside Redmayne? She doesn’t blink.
All I’m saying is, Redmayne’s co-stars in the Harry Potter prequel Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them should make sure to always face him and never, ever close their eyes.
Here’s your first look at the prequel, via an EW magazine cover of Redmayne’s Newt Scamander.
You know that feeling you get with the spirit of one of your murdered relatives passes through you? That’s how I feel every time I look at Redmayne.
