This might be just the pick-me-up this week needs! In an adorably amusing crowdfunding pitch, Firefly-ers Wash and Mal explain their remarkably familiar sounding comedy pitch, throwing in a few well-deserved digs at Fox — and themselves — along the way.

The Con Man premise is just the right side of silly; you can already see how much fun Fillion is going to have with it, and Tudyk infuses the promo with a lovely, lighthearted goofiness. Let’s DO THIS.

“I’m not saying I have trust issues…”

As you’ve seen the boys have invited a few special guest stars.

This one’s my favorite — I only wish we’d spied Laurence lounging nearby.

As of this morning, their Indiegogo crowdfunding was at a mere $80k, and it’s already jumped to over $500k $750k $850k $900k (as of 10:05 pm EST), so I’d say we’re all pretty interested in Con Man making a run.

I think we might just get to see that spaceship.
