You Let Me Violate You: Fincher's 'Gone Girl' Has a New Poster, and Rosamund Pike Talks Sex with Neil Patrick Harris

Closer. We’re getting closer. Only a little over two weeks until we can go see this Trent Reznor scored hot mess of a tale as envisioned by David Fincher; that one-two punch of darkness in itself is enough to tell us we’re in for a mind fork. Never mind that Gillian Flynn’s wickedly twisty writing already hurtled us into the warped corners of her mind, those two gentlemen are certain to spit us out sideways…and I can’t wait.

First up, here’s a new poster with Batfleck practicing his evil husband face:

Hey, if it works well, Affleck can use it when he glares down Cavill’s Superman, right?

Secondly, Ben’s co-star Rosamund Pike is already doing the interview rounds, and she talked to Flynn for Glamour about her sex scenes with newleywed (and the guy who plays her obsessed ex-boyfriend) Neil Patrick Harris:

“Neil was incredible at that [going to a dark place]. We were in hysterics in the editing room. It was very funny doing [rehearsals for our sex] scene. David left Neil and me alone on that set for like two hours to make sure we could do it. But when it’s just two of you, basically kind of f—king on a bed, it feels so inappropriate.”

I’m psyched to see these two together — probably more so than Pike and Affleck, although I’m curious to see how Ben plays Nick. Pike and Flynn talk a little bit more about what it was like playing a woman like Amy, letting go of her at the end of the day, and how angry women are perceived differently than angry men.

Oh and check out Amy Dunne’s Pintrest. Ain’t she just the perfect wife?

Gone Girl opens October 3rd.
