It began with burgers that could be made of corpses. Now Bob’s Burgers is a funky, fun gem in Fox’s crown. So it’s little surprise that even with some new execs, the series has been renewed for season six.

THR reports Bob’s Burgers will get another 22 episodes for the 2015-2016 season, which means more burger puns from Bob, more impromptu nonsense songs from Linda, more wily schemes from Louise, more misinformed outbursts from Gene, and more Tina, TINA, TINA.

The show created by Home Movies Loren Bouchard and King of the Hill producer Jim Dauterive has been steadily gaining steam. The premiere for season five was up 60% from its season four finale. It’s earned three Emmy nods for Outstanding Animated Program since 2012, one for “Burgerboss,” one of “O.T.: Outside Toilet” and one it finally friggin’ won for “Mazel Tina.” No shade to the rest of the Belcher clan, but of course it took a Tina episode to score the Emmy!

With her obsessions with butts, zombies, ponies, and erotic fan fiction, Tina is deeply weird. And yet with her bouts of teen angst, stalwart self-confidence, and deep-seated awkwardness, she’s a representation of teendom that’s both hilarious and relatable. Which led to her being picked as EW’s Best TV Character of 2014.

Okay, clearly Tina’s my favorite. But what makes Bob’s Burgers so successful is that the whole ensemble is funny and distinctive, making any combination of this clan ripe for comedic possibilities. And best of all, whether they are belting out
“Buckle it up or you’ll die!” or arguing over their holiday card, the Belcher’s actually feel like a flesh and blood family, making for stories that are not only hysterical but also heartfelt. So, let’s raise our glasses to Bob’s Burgers coming back for season six!
