Fillion and Tudyk Snag 'Walking Dead, Battlestar Galactica' and 'Terminator' Alumni for 'Con Men'
Firefly almuni Alan Tudyk and Nathan Fillion’s Con Man is on a roll. After their modest $425k Indiegogo goal was blown out of the water with fan contributions, the boys expressed their appreciation:
And as if their goofy antics aren’t enough, the former and ever browncoats have rounded up a few more familiar faces for their new series about a washed up actor (Tudyk) who survives by making convention appearances; Fillion stars as his megastar best friend.
Battlestar Galactica’s Six and Anders, Tricia Helfer and Michael Trucco:
Terminator 2 and The X-Files’ Robert Patrick:
The Walking Dead’s Emily Kinney:
As well as Supernatural’s Samantha Smith, Uncharted and Pretty Little Liar’s Nolan North, and Austin Powers’ Mindy Sterling:
All these folks join the already awesome announced-as-dropping-by cast of Gina Torres, Sean Maher, Felicia Day, James Gunn, Amy Acker and Seth Green. Hot damn; when does this thing air?
Filming begins this June, with episodes available for streaming on Vimeo later this year.
