I’m really starting to get worried, y’all. First there was the hand incident, when last month Norman Reedus tweeted a photo of a severed, wedding-ringed hand that didn’t seem to be his own; now Andrew Lincoln showed up to the Walking Dead fifth season premiere party looking quite different than his television counterpart. In other words: beardless, he was.
Looking good and all, boys — but WHAT IS GOING ON? Do we really have to wait two Sundays (or longer) to find out? Asked for a hint about what his clean face meant, Lincoln coyly responded,
“Either I’m not in the show anymore or there’s a flashback where I found a razor. [Losing the beard] was more pleasant for my wife!…It’s an extraordinary and interesting thing that goes downI can’t really go into it because I don’t want to spoil it.”
UGH. Spoil it, Mr. Lincoln, spoil it.
As you all remember, *4th season finale SPOILER ahead* when last we left Rick and Co., the gang were locked up in a Terminus trailer, presumably in preparation for other people…to eat (that last part’s presumption, not spoiler). And you know what
you have someone has to do before you eat meat, don’t you? Pluck it! Er…shave it.
I have to go curl into a ball now. Please remember, no comic spoilers in the comments.
The Walking Dead returns to AMC October 12th. Here’s the cast and crew with a season 5 primer:
Oh and what does this mean?
