Did you catch that part about Gremlins being about suburban white fear of black culture? Good stuff. This new trailer? Even better. And if all the jokes in the movie are in the trailer, that’s OK. They’re really good jokes. They’re still funny a third and fourth time. Also note, two (2) black friends are now the mandatory minimum to prove that you are not racist.
This may well be the very first movie based on a concept trailer based on a Twitter account that I can’t wait to see (the reception at Sundance, where it won this year’s Special Jury Award for Breakthrough Talent doesn’t hurt.
