Define "Butthurt": A Petition To Remove 'The Last Jedi' From 'Star Wars' Canon
If only some of the energy spent arguing over The Last Jedi was instead focused on pretty much ANYTHING ELSE, the world would be a less idiotic place.
So those people hating The Last Jedi on Twitter and Rotten Tomatoes? I guess they found their way to Change.org and decided what America needs now is a petition to have the latest Star Wars flick removed from canon like Alderaan was removed from the galaxy far, far away.
Episode VIII was a travesty. It completely destroyed the legacy of Luke Skywalker and the Jedi. It destroyed the very reasons most of us, as fans, liked Star Wars. This can be fixed. Just as you wiped out 30 years of stories, we ask you to wipe out one more, the Last Jedi. Remove it from canon, push back Episode IX and re-make Episode VIII properly to redeem Luke Skywalker’s legacy, integrity, and character.
The petition has 2,123 of the 2,500 signatures needed as of the time of this writing. I’m kind of out of words. I’m only making sounds at this point. Grunty, confused sounds.
