Deadpool is Nice to More Sick Children
The great sage and eminent Jodi needed someone to fill in an article for her this evening on account of having run out of bubblegum and moving on to the next item on the list of what she came here to do. And that means that one day I may ask a favor of her, and that day may never come, but it totally will, and she’s required to guard me from my enemies while I convalesce.
So I thought to myself, what would Jodi post? And the first article on the first website I looked at was about Deadpool, and I said, “Self? You just earned yourself chimichangas for dinner.”
Ryan Reynolds is continuing to make the hilariously sadistic psychopathic Deadpool more kind and empathetic than any of the actual heroes in the entire extended neck-snapping DC universe. This is why Marvel is winning. Tony Acevedo, a kid suffering from Hodgkin’s Disease, told the Make-A-Wish Foundation that he wanted to meet Deadpool. So they set up the meet with Reynolds in costume and on set. Photos below:
Tony Acevedo asked Make A Wish Foundation if he could meet Deadpool. I wasn't expecting him to sneak the mask, put on the gloves, smile… and then beat Deadpool about the face, arms and jugular with blazing speed. Tony's next fight is with Hodgkin's Disease. Hodgkin's Disease best be wearing its brown pants. Huge thanks to @makeawishamerica
A few weeks ago another kid got similar treatment - 15 year old Calista King - and she even got to keep one of Deadpool’s swords to take home. I assume they had more, because otherwise filming will get awkward.
Also, I can neither confirm nor deny that Jodi is now wandering the country intentionally infecting herself with as many untreatable diseases as possible in order to gain access to the Deadpool set.
