Carrie Fisher Used 'Godfather'-esque Threat Against Hollywood Harasser

My heart still hasn’t healed from the loss of Carrie Fisher, but hearing fresh new stories of her badassery helps. And this story, in which Carrie stood up for her friend after an Oscar-winning producer sexually harassed her? It just goes to show that NOBODY fucks with Princess Leia. Or her friends. She strangled Jabba the Hutt! SHE’LL COME FOR YOUR ASS TOO!

Screenwriter Heather Ross called into 94.9 MixFM in Tucson with the tale of her own sexual harassment at the hands of a Hollywood producer NOT named Harvey Weinstein for a change — and it’s worth a listen because it’s a disturbing story in its own right. But this story continued to a happier ending than many we’ve heard lately, because Heather told her friends… including Carrie Fucking Fisher.

“About two weeks later, she sent me a message online and she said, ‘I just saw (blank) at Sony Studios. I knew he would probably be there, so I went to his office and personally delivered a Tiffany box wrapped with a white bow.’ And I asked her,’Well ok, what was inside?’ And she was like, ‘It was a cow tongue from Jerry’s Famous Deli in Westwood with a note that said, ‘If you ever touch my darling Heather or any other woman again, the next delivery will be (clears throat) something of yours in a much smaller box!’”

We’ve heard a lot lately about silence, about being complicit, about the prevalence of sexual assault and harassment in every industry and especially in Hollywood, and the fear of standing up in the face of possible retaliation. But for once, this isn’t that story. I’m not saying that producer never laid an unwanted finger on another lady again. But I guarantee if and when he did, he had to shake the image of that Tiffany box and Carrie Fisher out of his head.

The Princess. The General. The Legend. You’re still making us feel better, Carrie.
