‘Captain Marvel’ Magic Eye Images are the Only Acceptable Thing to Spark Rage About ‘Captain Marvel’

Since the movie isn’t out yet there is literally no valid reason why Captain Marvel should incite rage in anyone because they haven’t seen the movie yet. However, Marvel just gave everyone an out when they released these five Magic Eye themed Captain Marvel images.

Friends, as anyone who was around in 1995 can attest to—nothing can make you angrier, faster, than staring at these things for minutes (and in some cases hours) only to never see the hidden image embedded.

(For those of you who want the very core of their being shook, the actual Magic Eye used in Mallrats was not a sail boat, but a series of shapes, as I discovered today. I will never be the same thanks to this knowledge.)

I’m one of the smug majority who can easily see any Magic Eye image, usually within a second or so, so take that elementary school gym teacher who told me I’d never amount to anything (he actually told me to stop laying down on the field in a silent protest against sports and get up before a ball hit me, but that’s not how I remember it.) Some of the Captain Marvel Magic Eyes work better than others. The ones requiring more detail kind of confused me, but I haven’t seen the movie yet, so maybe that’s why?

Anyway, here they are, and in true Magic Eye fashion, I’m going to refuse to tell you what each image is supposed to be so you can stare in increasing frustration until you give up, or decide that you don’t need to sleep tonight until you see them. I will mention that I had a harder time seeing them on my phone than on my laptop, so your mileage may vary here. One final hint—none of them are sailboats or schooners. Enjoy!
