We’re still nearly a year away from the next Avengers film, but a few cool details about characters and costumes have been finding their way to the interwebosphere. Some of you may consider this information *Spoilerish; if so, now’s the time to back on out.

So far we know James Spader is playing Ultron, Paul Bettany got an upgrade, Elisabeth Olson is Scarlet Witch and Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Quicksilver, and recently we found out Josh Brolin will voice Thanos. We’ve seen that Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye costume has undergone a few changes, and today there’s other character and costume details news:

Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow will have two batons with shocking ability, and “her suit is said to be more “TRON-style” in nature with blue lights and electricity around the suit.” When she hits someone, he’ll receive a shock (aka widow sting).

Hulk’s (Mark Ruffalo) pants will expand and shrink with his physical changes, and they’ll sport the Avenger’s “A” (as will all the new costumes).

James Spader’s face and movements will be incorporated into Ultron’s appearance — there won’t be just a helmet. His suit will feature a red firelight emanating from under it and the “mock-up is reminiscent of the weapon that Agent Coulson used to shoot Loki in The Avengers.” Ultron also commands an army of drones similar to himself, but without the red light.

Paul Bettany’s Vision will be costumed in metallic red, gold and green, with a yellow cape; his face will be the actor’s, “100 percent.”

Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) will wear the Mark 43 Iron Man suit (“…less gold on it than Iron Man 3, but still more than in The Avengers”), which features a circular chest core reactor.

Finally, the redesigned Quinjet will be more sleek, have more weaponry, and enough seats for all the Avengers. There will also be a new — the largest for a Marvel film ever — Avengers tower, with a Quinjet landing pad and garage, a lab for Stark and Banner, and lots of glass and technology.

JoBlo has the full scoop, as well as some (*Very Spoilerish) Ant Man plot details, and a very general Star Wars setting tidbit.
