I know we’ve been mostly attempting to give you the warm fuzzies today in light of recent events. I, however, haven’t slept well all week and my feet hurt from wearing goddamn grown-up shoes at my goddamn grown-up job. I blame you.

That’s why I’ve decided to tell you that Kevin James will be starring in another big budget movie. Described as being in the vein of The Swiss Family Robinson, Stranded will feature James as part of a shipwrecked family. I’m guessing fart jokes, fat jokes, physical comedy, and learning a lesson will ensue. I would love it if writer Tripper Clancy threw in some cannibals and some Saw-like torture scenes, but Sony might not want to go that way.

If you are so excited that you just shit your pants, fret not. Your pal Kevin James can be seen June 6th in Little Boy and April 17, 2015 in Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2.

Brad Pitt’s World War Z made $540 million worldwide. What happens when a movies makes money? SEQUEL!

J.A. Bayona (The Impossible) will be directing and Steven Knight (Dirty Pretty Things, Locke) will pen the sequel. So, the first movie was about the Zombie War, right? Do you think the sequel will focus on the aftermath of the War or do you think it will focus on another survivor amid the swarms of zombies? Maybe they can take Max Brooks’ The Zombie Survival Guide, basically ignore it, and then base the movie off of it. That would be neat. If neat means absolute garbage.
