Peter Berg, the man behind Friday Night Lights the movie, and the creator of the television series, and a fairly smart actor/director who made the mistake of deciding to direct Battleship, got in an awkward confrontation with a young Israeli interviewer last week when the subject of the interview turned from Berg’s movie to Iran/Israeli relations.
I don’t know what’s going on with this poor interviewer, who may or may not have dodged service into the Israeli Defense Forces, but Berg gets awfully animated about it. “Are you a draft dodger? … You gotta join the army, mother fucker.” The interviewer really doesn’t want to answer the question.
