Guillermo Del Toro always has his hands in a lot of different projects he is either producing, writing, developing, directing, or some combination of the four. After finishing up with Pacific Rim and “The Strain”, we should get Crimson Peak as Del Toro’s next directorial effort.

Crimson Peak is supposed to be a haunted house movie in the vein of The Haunting and The Shining. I take that to mean ghosts, murder, mayhem, and some creepy children. I’m looking forward to seeing what the man behind The Devil’s Backbone can do with this particular horror sub-genre. (Is sub-genre a word or a thing? It is now.)
