It was good to see Julianna Margulies and Archie Panjabi back on our televisions screens last night, albeit the former Good Wife stars were on different shows. Panjabi had a guest stint on Brooklyn Nine-Nine as a potential fuck-buddy for Joe Lo Truglio’s Detective Boyle (it was nice seeing Panjabi in a comedic setting). Meanwhile, the sixth season of The Good Wife also kicked off in exciting fashion, as Margulies character, Alicia Florrick, had to start from scratch while also dealing with her husband’s potential bid to become a Vice Presidential contender (weirdly dovetailing with Hillary Clinton’s real-life bid to become President). Margo Martindale has also joined the series in a recurring role.

Anyway, while those two were back on television, their feud — dormant for the last few months — also picked up some steam. Vulture asked Margulies about the feud, which stems from the fact that the two didn’t film any scenes together in the last few seasons of The Good Wife and the discovery that they faked filming their last scene together.

Margulies threw sand at those rumors, saying it was just gossip.

“Right, I’ve heard about [the feud]. Who says that? It’s totally gossip,” Margulies said. “I heard that question had been asked to Robert King. There’s no story there, sorry … I actually had heard [that rumor] and I feel that it has been talked about and answered. I feel people just like to have gossip or make something into something that isn’t there. There’s no animosity on my part. It’s a shame, because I wonder if it was two men, when one finds out that he fucked his best friend’s wife, if it would get that same attention, you know what I mean?”

As for that final scene? Margulies had an explanation for that, too.

“You also have to remember, there’s difficulty … [Panjabi] was also doing another show, called The Fall. I went along with whatever Robert asked me to do and I did it happily.”

Well, it looks like someone has no interest in seeing the feud quietly disappear as Panjabi tweeted this in response.

That’s a passive-aggressive fuck you, if I ever saw one. So, the feud is back on, huh?
