For some stupid effing reason, New Line is remaking Police Academy, and as if to make the threat even more real, they’ve hired a director, Scott Zebielski, whose experience includes directing a bunch of “Tosh 2.0” episodes. (Deadline)

Jim Carrey’s career is in the sh*tter these days, so no time like the present to return to Bruce Almighty. Despite the fact that Evan Almighty was one of the costliest duds in film history, Jarrad Paul and Andrew Mogel have been hired to pen a direct sequel to Carrey’s film with Carrey in the starring role. So, the worst one could reasonably expect is a straight-to-DVD sequel starring Ellie Kemper. (Hitfix)

(Deadline)

Speaking of The Bourne Legacy, here is the first movie poster for the film. It’s not exactly The Dark Knight Rises movie poster.
