'Agents of SHIELD' Increases Series' Sexual Potency by 117 Percent in Its Second Season

A few months ago, after the season finale of Agents of SHIELD had aired, our Joanna Robinson over at Vanity Fair posited that Sam Jackson’s lively cameo illustrated what was wrong with the series. It lacked star power and the big-name presence of the Marvel movies’ characters.

I liked most of the last quarter of the freshman season of SHIELD, but I don’t disagree with Joanna. Clark Gregg is a great piece in an ensemble, but he doesn’t exactly have star wattage, and he has more presence than anyone else in the cast … until now.

TV Guide is reporting that Lucy (goddamn) Lawless will be joining the cast of SHIELD next season. We have no idea what role she will have nor how many episodes she will be on the show, although Nerdist suggests she could potentially be Asgardian.

Whatever. Just make her a series regular. Give her 22 episodes. Give this show a character with some goddamn presence. She is perfect!
