ABC has released its fall schedule, and it doesn’t look that different from the current schedule, honestly. Monday stays intact, Thursday adds a third Shonda Rhimes show, Sunday looks the same, and the anchor shows on Wednesday are the same.
They did finally move Agents of SHIELD into the more appropriate 9:00 hour, and they will hope to use it to boost Forever, a medical procedural ( Agent Carter will air between the spring finale and winter premiere of SHIELD.). They’ve also established a new comedy block on Tuesdays at 7 anchored by Karen Gillan’s Selfie. The Goldbergs moved to where it should’ve been this season, after The Middle, while Anthony Anderson’s Black-ish will probably be the next sitcom to fail after Modern Family (the one that would have succeeded in that slot, Trophy Wife, was cancelled).
Otherwise, it’s not a particularly compelling schedule.
